I have been interested in fiber all my life. I have experimented with sewing and embroidery, but weaving is my true love. |
| | I've been weaving for over 15 years now. I am largely self-taught except for a few classes and seminars. |

I love color, and felt limited by the choices provided by commercially dyed yarns, so I started dyeing my own yarns about 10 years ago. I love to experiment with different color combinations to come up with something entirely new. |

Painting the warp with dyes allows me to set the mood for a piece. I add inlay to my wall hangings to add another dimension. |
| | My inspirations come from nature, my readings on science and nature, and my reactions to the world around me, both natural and metaphysical. |
